Shock Absorber Dual-Action Fatigue Testing Machine
Special dynamic fatigue test equipment for shock absorbers, adopting dual excitation structure to simulate real road vibration conditions for durability assessment
Product Overview
This shock absorber dual-action fatigue testing machine adopts independent upper and lower servo excitation units. It can apply vibration of different frequencies and amplitudes at both ends of the shock absorber simultaneously, simulating the actual working condition that the vehicle body vibrates at low frequency and large amplitude while the wheel vibrates at high frequency and small amplitude on the road. The machine is used for cyclic fatigue and durability testing of automotive, motorcycle and engineering shock absorbers. It supports superimposed waveform loading, lateral force auxiliary loading, cycle counting, real-time damping curve recording and performance change monitoring during long-cycle test. Multi-station clamping can be configured to test multiple samples at the same time. The supporting test software can set test cycles, stop conditions and alarm thresholds automatically, and record force, displacement, frequency and cycle data continuously. It is widely used for shock absorber product development, batch quality inspection and durability verification in auto parts factories and third-party testing institutions.
Applicable International Standards
The system is designed to comply with the following recognized testing standards:
- ISO 13802 — Railway applications — Suspension components — Test methods for hydraulic dampers
- SAE J2440 — Performance and Durability Testing of Automotive Shock Absorbers
- ASTM E3077 — Standard Practice for Fatigue Testing of Components
- ISO 7500-1 — Metallic materials — Calibration of static uniaxial testing machines
Note: Specific compliance depends on model configuration, force sensor selection and customized fixture design. Customized fixtures and test schemes for extra testing standards are available upon request.
